About the Digital Quilt Project
The English Language Center and the New Media Studio of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, together with 23 educational institutions from 14 different countries created this Digital Quilt to celebrate International Education Week. Based on the theme Threads of Understanding, and relying on the benefits of multimedia and new technologies, the quilt illustrates what international educators and institutions do to promote intercultural understanding in a globalized world.
