Housing

Students enrolled in the English Language Center have the option of living on campus or off campus. There are several advantages to living on campus. You have a chance to meet other American and international students, become more involved in the UMBC community and improve your speaking skills. UMBC offers several different types of on-campus housing facilities. Students may choose to live in a traditional resident hall or in on-campus apartments. On-campus housing is limited so it is important to mail your application and copy of your F-1 visa as soon as possible.
