New Students studying full-time (with an F-1 visa) are required to pay for one full semester (two sessions) at orientation.

Refund Policy
Students who find it necessary to withdraw from ELC classes are eligible for tuition refund according to the following scale based on UMBC policies:

F-1 visa students who desire to withdraw from ELC classes should meet with the international student advisor to ensure compliance with immigration regulations concerning full-time status and enrollment or proper transfer procedures. A refund request form should also be completed.
*Fees, insurance and textbooks are non-refundable. Students who find it necessary to move out of campus housing before the end of the contracted period, may be subject to a penalty.
