TUITION FEES & COURSES: SPRING 2012 through FALL 2013
- F-1 students pay a one-time, non-refundable application fee of $100. to apply for an I-20. (Fee includes express mail delivery of I-20.)
- F-1 students are required to purchase UMBC's mandatory health insurance. Approximate cost for Fall & Spring:$480 to $625 per semester. Summer: $300 per semester
- Students are given a placement test during orientation to determine the level of English they are to begin studying.

Part-Time Study
Available for U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and others with U.S. visas that allow part-time study.
(Note: Part-time study is not available for students with an F-1 visa.)
