The main mission of the board is to provide a forum in which curriculum development, instruction, research and professional development issues are discussed and policies are formulated. We have assembled a panel of top experts from industry, government and academia and we are committed to make industry a full partner in UMBC's education enterprise. We focus on undergraduate curriculum reform, as well as new undergraduate and graduate research programs and many other issues that are very important to the College. The IAB meets twice each year and the committees meet between each full session.
