Short Biographical Sketch
Dr. Jiang was born in Harbin. Heilongjiang, PRC. He graduated with a BS degree from in 1982 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in the PRC. In 1991 he came to UMBC and received an MS in Mechanical Engineering. In July of 1998 he received the Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UMBC. He minored in Biophysics. His research work was carried out mainly in Dr. Martin Schneider's group in the Interdisciplinary Group in Muscle Biology at the UMB School of Medecine. There he was coauther of 10 papers with this group.
