Short Biographical Sketch
Dr. Like Que received his B.S. degree in 1984 and his M.S. degree in 1987, both in Materials Science from the Dalain Railway Institute in China before joining UMBC in 1992. He received his Ph.D. in 1997 at UMBC.
Dr. Que joined Boston Scientific Corporation as an R&D engineer in 1998. BSC makes minimally invasive medical devices. He began at the BSC/Spencer facility in Indiana and in 2000, transferred to BSC/Fremont, CA. He worked with two product development teams and launched two products, a stone retrieval device (basket type) and an aneurysm embolization device (Matrix coils). He is currently working on a new aneurysm embolization product. |
