*** NI-DAQmx Download and Installation Instructions

Thank you for using National Instruments NI-DAQmx for PC Compatibles.   

NI-DAQmx 8.3 for PC Compatibles works on Windows 2000/XP.    
Refer to the readme.html file for more information on NI-DAQmx and the devices supported.

Perform the following steps to install NI-DAQmx:

STEP 1) Create a temporary folder on your local hard drive.

STEP 2) Extract the NIDAQ830.zip file into the folder created in Step 1. This creates the installation 
	files necessary for installing NI-DAQmx. 

STEP 3) To launch the NI-DAQmx installer, run the autorun.exe program from the NIDAQ830 directory 
	and the startup.exe program from the DocBrowser directory

To conserve disk space you can delete your .zip files and the extracted files. It is recommended that you keep the extracted installation files in case you need to add features from the NI-DAQmx distribution in the future.
