Undergraduate Experience

The engineer of the future will be multidimensional. To educate this new engineer, UMBC has built a college around a dynamic exciting, personal process. It starts in freshman year when hands-on laboratory experience gives shape and substance to the earliest lessons in engineering theory. It continues throughout the curriculum. Feedback from industry, government, and alumni helps ensure that students are gaining advanced skills in the latest technologies and discovering where solutions are needed most.
