My name is Sam-Ang. I am a Cambodian-American.
Stone carvings at our great temple of Angkor Wat (left) in Cambodia show the riches of performing arts in our past. Refined and elaborate music and dance survived for centuries, but were nearly wiped out in the genocidal campaign against the arts in the 1970s.
