2005 Non-Credit Enrollees Returning for Graduate Credit or Certificate

During the 2006 year only, those who enrolled for one or more of the four certificate-eligible courses at UMBC from November 2004 to December 2005 can apply to the certificate program or take one or more single courses for graduate credit. Returning enrollees must apply for admission TWO MONTHS prior to course start date. The schedule for upcoming courses is at: http://www.umbc.edu/erickson/exed_courses.html
You will pay an additional fee of $750 and complete the additional work required for graduate credit online.

Application Procedure

Apply for admissions to either the certificate program or as an advanced special student, depending on your goals.

Application Packet Materials
Complete the following materials:

  1. Application for admission as a post-baccalaureate certificate or non degree-seeking student. (Downloadable from http://www.umbc.edu/gradschool/admissions)
  2. Unofficial or official transcripts from undergraduate institutions leading to your bachelor's degree (copies issued to you are fine).
  3. Completed course enrollment form
  4. Non-refundable $50 application fee (either use credit card form on the enrollment form or submit a check payable to UMBC with a mailed application).
