To facilitate its work and campus communication, the UMBC Faculty Senate uses Blackboard's online courseware tool. To find the agenda, minutes and announcements, follow the instructions below.

To Browse, click here

  • Select the "Guest Login" option (see example)
  • Select the "Community" tab at the top
  • Use "Organization Search" or select "governance" in the "Organization Catalog."

  • The Faculty Senate Blackboard community "course" will appear in your list of organizations after you login (click here to see what it will look like).

  • All senators, committee and ex-officio members are able to use Blackboard's group discussion, Virtual Chat, file exchange, and archive features.
