Sue has worked at UMBC since 1973 on the academic secretarial front in the departments of Sociology and Ancient Studies/American Studies. 2001 saw her move to the newly created Faculty Development Center where she divides her time between the FDC and UMBC's Faculty Senate. Sue's husband, Jeff Hahn, was a member of the first class at UMBC in 1966 and graduated from University of Maryland's School of Pharmacy in 1971. The Hahns are big lacrosse enthusiasts, having cheered their two sons on UMBC's Men's Lacrosse team, following in the footsteps of their father, who played from 1966-71. Jeff was inducted into UMBC's Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. Daughter Tricia, a high school senior, is eager to begin her college career as an education major
