Duties:    The office assistant provides clerical/administrative assistance to the Department of Human Resources. Duties include: making copies; filing; typing letters, memos and other documents; running errands; data entry; finding and researching position files; assisting with special projects; and performing other duties as assigned.
     
Required skills:    Knowledge of MS Word required. Experience with MS Excel helpful. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to follow instructions. Training will be provided.

Duties:    Customer oriented students needed to provide administrative support for the front reception desk of the Human Resources Department. Duties include: answering phones; assisting customers with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate person; opening and sorting mail; photo copying; logging in application forms; data entry; and other general office duties.
     
Required skills:    Requires excellent customer service skills. Must feel comfortable greeting customers and answering the phones. Previous experience in reception, customer service, and/or clerical/administration preferred. Must have knowledge of MS Word. Training is provided.

Duties:    The position will assist the Employment Manager with various administrative tasks associated with recruitment and hiring. Duties include: making copies; processing forms; data entry; locating and researching files; posting positions on websites; delivering items around campus; typing memos; designing templates for forms; and performing other duties as assigned. In addition, a second position is available for a student with graphic design knowledge to: design campus flyers; assist in website design; edit photographs; develop presentations materials and slides; and assist in small music and film edit projects.
     
Required skills:    Must have knowledge of MS Word and good computer skills. Knowledge of MS Excel strongly preferred. Requires dependability, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision. Preferred Graphic position knowledge includes: Photoshop; web development; and Adobe Professional .

Positions Available:    1-2
Duties:    Fall Semester tasks will primarily consist of assisting with the department’s annual service awards event. Duties include: researching new vendors for prizes and maintaining the vendor spreadsheet; coordinating external mailings; contacting businesses via phone and email; making updates to the departmental event website and social media accounts; editing digital photos; and performing other duties as assigned. Other duties for both the fall and spring semesters include: entering data in MS Access and Excel; scanning photos and documents; photocopying; filing; running errands; and other general office duties.
     
Required skills:    Required Skills: Must be detail oriented, reliable and have good communication and computer skills. The ability to follow procedures is required. Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Adobe PDF and Photoshop strongly preferred. Training will be provided
