Re:  Benefits Update (H1N1 Vaccine)

We have received confirmation from the State Benefits Division that the H1N1 vaccine will be covered under all of our medical plans (Aetna, CareFirst, United Healthcare) through June 30, 2010.  There will not be an in-network co-pay for the H1N1 vaccine.  Please note that initial shipments of the vaccine will be available only to those individuals in the five priority categories:

*         Pregnant women
*         People who live with or care for children under six months of age
*         Healthcare and emergency services personnel
*         All people six months through  24 years of age
*         Those aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of
           medical complications from influenza.

We will notify employees when the vaccine has been released for use by the general public.  At that time, all participants in any of our medical plans may contact their provider about obtaining the vaccine.
