H1N1 Flu Vaccine

Re: H1N1 Flu Vaccines

Dear Students,

University Health Services (UHS) will be providing H1N1 flu vaccines (injections) by appointment only to members of the UMBC community that fall in one or more of the following categories:

  * Immune-compromised individuals
  * Pregnant women
  * Caregivers of children under the age of 6 months

If you fall in one of the above categories, you may make an appointment for the H1N1 vaccine at UHS between Monday, October 26, and Friday, October 30.  UHS is open Mon.-Thurs., 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Fri., 8:30 a.m. -5 p.m. The UHS phone number is 410-455-2542.

PLEASE NOTE: University Health Services (UHS) will be hosting an H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on Tuesday, November 3, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the UC Ballroom. The same populations listed above may attend the mass vaccination clinic as well as the next eligible population: 

  *  Healthy individuals age 24 and younger who are members of the UMBC community.

The vaccinations are free.  However, you must present your UMBC ID card, and have proof of age.
