Summer 2001

The Department of Planning and Construction Services (PCS) is responsible for facility capital planning, spatial utilization of building assets, and the design, implementation, and administration of construction contracts as they apply to UMBC facilities.

PCS coordinates capital planning initiatives with the Office of Administration and Finance. Our staff of professionals work closely with the efforts of the Office of Procurement to support UMBC's academic mission through coordinated planning and stewardship initiatives and programs.

Our goal is to provide professional services while maintaining cost-effectiveness for the UMBC community.
