The objective of the GIScience
certificate program is to equip students with the
skills to apply analytical procedures of GIS, Remote
Sensing, and Cartography to address geographical and
environmental issues.

better average in the certificate courses, and no
course with a grade lower than a C can count toward
the certificate. No course substitutions are
allowed for Program Requirements. Students
