The objective of the GIScience certificate program is to equip students with the skills to apply analytical procedures of GIS, Remote Sensing, and Cartography to address geographical and environmental issues.

A student must have a B or better average in the required courses, and no course with a grade lower than a C can count toward the certificate. No course substitutions are allowed for Program Requirements.
