OIA, Graduate School, OIT meeting during the winter of 2005/2006

There was a meeting that Miriam Tilman, Jackie Ward, Betty Douglass, and Nick Yeates attended that discussed the following plan:

The plan that we laid out at the meeting was that OIA, with input from the Grad School, would:

  1. manage the development phase (market research, including what I mentioned above, recommendations for navigation and architecture, ending with a wire frame, subject to approval by the Grad School)
  2. take care of the graphic design (which would be approved by the Grad School)
  3. flow the text into the designed templates/build the site
  4. turn the site over to the Grad School to manage and maintain.

Research efforts

Nick Yeates and a student worker researched different methods of implementing a CMS. A proof-of-concept was created for mambo. See the research page.
