The PROMISE Program

PROMISE uniquely serves the needs of graduate students across three campuses, UMBC, the University of Maryland Baltimore (downtown), and the University of Maryland College Park through activities that range from retreats, academic and professional development seminars and conferences, to informal discussions. One of the goals of PROMISE is to increase the numbers and diversity of Maryland's graduate student population in sciences, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. The services and programs of PROMISE at UMBC are a subset of programs for graduate student development that are open to all graduate students, regardless of background or discipline. All are invited, all are welcome to attend and participate. Please join the PROMISE group on MyUMBC for automatic updates:promise group
