IES Orientation

Information about the IES International Rules and Policy Meeting is available here. The International Rules and Policy Meeting is compulsory for all new international students that hold an F-1 visa. IELTS Accepted!

In addition to the TOEFL exam, UMBC is accepting the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) tests. The minimum entrance level for students wishing to study at UMBC is 6.5. Graduate programs may require a higher score for study in their area.  Consult your academic program’sGraduate Program Director for further information.
