| Program Description | The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UMBC, in conjunction with affiliate members from the graduate faculty in the School of Pharmacy, Department of Biomedicinal Chemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, offers graduate programs in the disciplines of analytical, biochemical, organic, inorganic and physical chemistry leading to the Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (including Biochemistry). An M.S. in these same chemical disciplines, with both thesis and non-thesis options, is also available through the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UMBC. |
