| Program Description | The interdisciplinary Public Policy program, which offers both a master's and doctoral degree and several graduate certificates, is designed for highly motivated individuals who wish to pursue advanced graduate studies in public policy and public policy analysis. The student body includes both full-time and part-time students. Most of the courses are offered in the evening to permit students who work to pursue their degrees. |

| Degrees Offered | Ph.D., Public Policy Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's Joint M.A. in Economic Policy Analysis is offered by the Department of Economics and the Department of Public Policy. Programs leading to both the J.D./M.P.P. and J.D./Ph.D. degrees are offered by UMBC Department of Public Policy and the University of Maryland School of Law and the Department of Public Policy. A comparable J.D./Ph.D. program also exists with the University of Baltimore School of Law. |
