To apply for Graduate Faculty membership, complete the Application for Membership form available through the UMBC Graduate School forms page. Both Word and PDF* versions may be completed electronically. Submit applications to Lisa Portis Morgan, Graduate School, 2nd floor Administration Building.

There are three levels of Graduate Faculty membership (regular, associate, and special). The dean will review applications for associate membership. Once approved, applicants will be notified and their names will be added to the Graduate Faculty List. Applications for regular and special membership categories will be referred to the Graduate Faculty Membership Committee for review and recommendation to the Graduate Council for approval. Once approved, applicants will be notified and their names will be added to the Graduate Faculty List.
