Application Fee

An application fee is required for online and paper submissions as seen below. Exceptions to this policy are for current Peace Corps volunteers, Horizons participants, McNair Scholars, Project 1000 applicants and employees of UMBC whose application fees are automatically waived. Please mark these exceptions clearly on your paper application, or online application, and be prepared to provide verification. Applications received without the application fee will not be processed.

Online Applications - $50

An application fee of $50 is required for online submissions. Online applications can be paid during the online process, after all information has been filled and submitted.

Paper Applications - $70

An application fee of $70 is required for paper submissions. Checks must be made payable to UMBC and should accompany the application form.
