Internships at Museums

    Museums offer a wide array of internships throughout their galleries, library and research centers. Working closely with staff, interns occupy positions in departments ranging from Administration, Conservation, Curatorial, Gallery Archives, Education, Exhibition Programs, National Programs, Publications, Research, Slide Library, and Special Events. Interns assist in exhibition research and planning and the development of informational resources; they partake in fundraising activities, press conferences and the grant application process; they gain experience in artifact handling, object maintenance and records collection.
