Graduate Students

• Internship Contract (must be completed and approved prior to registering for HIST 790 credit)
• Graduate Historical Studies M.A. without Public History Track certificate

• Declaration of Faculty Advisor Form (should be completed by the time the student completes 15 hours of graduate credits)

• Department Master's Thesis Prospectus Approval Form

• Guidelines for Final Preparation of Masters' Theses (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access this form)

• Graduate School Master's Degree Requirements and Deadlines

Other required forms including the graduate school application, requests for transfer credit, graduation, and leaves of absence are available on the UMBC Graduate School Website and linked below. It is very important that students complete and submit all required forms by the designated due dates established by the Department of History and the Graduate School.
