WHAT'S NEW

Congratulations to:

Cynthia Dang, Neeti Goel and Stephanie Spencer, who were awarded the Honors College Medallion at our Fall Ceremony on December 21st. The Medallion is given to those graduating from UMBC who have completed their Honors College Certificates. We wish them well!

Honors College junior Danielle Adekunle will be spending part of her winter break at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Danielle was invited by MIT to attend a quantitative biology workshop, designed for undergraduate students to prepare them for top PhD programs in biology.

Honors College sophomore Coco Tang was awarded an Imaging Research Center Fellowship and Scholarship at UMBC. The fellowship will support her work on a collaborative project between UMBC’s Visual Arts Department and the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore.
