A UMBC application is required
for all nonexempt staff positions. In addition, secretary, administrative
assistant, and executive administrative assistant positions require
a typing test to be taken prior
to the closing date.Exempt staff positions require a resume to be submitted
directly to the hiring department. Check the job listing for specific
requirements and instructions for applying.
Applications and resumes are accepted only at the time a vacancy
exists; please do not submit applications or resumes for positions which
are not posted or advertised. Each vacant position requires
a separate application or resume. You may submit photocopies of the
UMBC application. Whenever applying for a position that requires a UMBC
application, please indicate the Job # and the title of the position
on the application.
