| RESPONSIBILITIES: | This position is in the Information Technology Department. The incumbent will take a leading role in Hilltop’s LTSS system development team and will be responsible for proposing solutions to problems related to updating and maintaining the system code, database back end, and user interface; proposing and implementing designs for system reports; identifying and resolving problems for end-users through ongoing support; identifying and resolving system errors; developing system requirements; providing additional leadership on the integrated LTSS application; and performing other duties as assigned. | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | Education/Experience: Requires a Master’s degree with course work in information systems, computer science, or a related area and at least five years of experience with ASP.NET applications development programming. Note: A Bachelor's degree with course work in information systems, computer science, or a related area and seven years of experience with ASP.NET development, may be substituted for the Master’s degree and required experience. Must have experience with ASP.NET applications with ASP.NET MVC 3 using C# programming. Expertise with XML, XML Schema, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS is required. Experience in the entire SDLC, from requirements gathering through post-implementation user support required. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills are needed. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with large health care data sets is desired. Experience providing user support with a variety of end users a plus. Experience with Medicaid data preferred.
