RESPONSIBILITIES:The incumbent is an essential member of the University’s Advancement team and is responsible for administering an effective and dynamic calling program as a strategic part of the University’s annual giving program. The Coordinator will be accountable for the overall operations of the phonathon program including strategic planning, analysis, and reporting. Special emphasis will be placed on recruiting, hiring, training, supervision, and retention of the student calling staff to ensure a positive experience for our alumni. In addition, the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned. In addition, the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year (two years preferred) of experience in fundraising, telemarketing, and/or training and development required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong computer and internet skills; creativity, initiative, and independence in carrying out responsibilities; demonstrated planning, leadership, personal approachability, teamwork and organization skills; and the ability to motivate and work with students. Proficiency with databases and spreadsheets and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines required. Working knowledge of CampusCALL or a similar automated calling system; supervisory experience including interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, motivation, training, and administration; experience working with diverse populations; demonstrated data analysis; reporting skills; and/or familiarity with database systems preferred. Related experience in higher education is desired. Note: Additional hours outside of the normal schedule may be required on an as-needed basis.
SALARY:Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
