RESPONSIBILITIES:RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent will work in the IT Architecture and Platform Unit at The Hilltop Institute on activities related to the integrated long-term services and supports (LTSS) system. The LTSSMaryland system is used statewide to coordinate the implementation of LTSS to Maryland’s Medicaid population. Specific duties include: being an active part of Hilltop’s LTSS system development team; serving as the primary contact for users of the LTSS system (including following Hilltop’s change management process to document, investigate, and process telephone, emailed, and system-based user requests from internal and field-based system users); providing an important communication link between project stakeholders and the development team (developers and business analysts) responsible for making changes to the system; updating and maintaining system documentation and user training materials for the LTSSMaryland system; and performing other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, public health policy, business, or equivalent and at least two years of experience in information systems user support. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and a willingness to learn new software as needed required. Experience with Medicaid or information systems development is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail is required. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience providing user support with a variety of end users is a plus.
SALARY:Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Note: This is a grant-funded position wherein employment is contingent upon the renewal of the grant.
