|POSITION TITLE:||Work Controller (Job #012R) Search Reopened|
|PERSONNEL STATUS:||Nonexempt, Full-time, Regular|
|RESPONSIBILITIES:||The incumbent will perform a variety of duties in the operation of the institutionís facilities management automated work control system. Duties include: answering calls for the work control center; entering work orders into system; scheduling, planning and documenting work; procurement of supplies and materials to facilitate work; inspecting work originating from the facilities management work control center; assisting campus customers with follow-up questions or concerns; and performing other duties as assigned. |
|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:||Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience scheduling and determining resource requirements in trades occupations. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills desired. Must possess a valid Non-commercial Class C or equivalent driverís license.
Note: Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
|SALARY:||Pay Range 8 (starting at $28,939) based on a University of Maryland System Pay Program.|
