|POSITION TITLE:||Office Supervisor III (Job #018)|
|PERSONNEL STATUS:||Nonexempt, Full-time, Regular|
|DEPARTMENT:||Geography and Environmental Systems|
|RESPONSIBILITIES:||The incumbent will be responsible for public reception, document imaging, file and budget management within the Department of Geography and Environmental Systems. Specific duties: managing multiple departments budgets; purchasing; record keeping; supervising front office staff including Administrative Assistant and student employees; responding to inquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins; managing supply room and mail room; hiring, and performing other duties as assigned.|
|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:||Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and five years progressively responsible clerical work experience to include at least one year in a supervisory capacity. Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail required. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast pasted environment and be able to evaluate and assess areas of conflict and coordinate resolution. Proficiency with Quicken, Excel and Word required. Previous experience working in a university setting preferred. Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.

|SALARY:||Pay Range 10 (starting at $32,271) based on the University System of Maryland Pay Program. |
