|POSITION TITLE:||Grounds/Recycling Supervisor (Job # 005RR) Search Reopened|
|PERSONNEL STATUS:||Nonexempt, Full-time, Regular|
|RESPONSIBILITIES:||The incumbent will be responsible for supervising the recycling and sanitation functions for the campus and serve as the first point-of-contact for the recycling program. Specific duties include: coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing the collection, handling, delivery, and disposal of recyclable materials and waste; preparing and maintaining written reports; operating equipment such as a forklift, backhoe, and skid loader; assisting in recycling education and snow removal operations; landscaping; and performing other duties as assigned. |
|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:||Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and three years in grounds keeping in a lead or supervisory capacity. Must possess a valid Non-commercial Class C or equivalent Driverís License.
Note: A Bachelorís degree preferably in Horticulture, Environmental Studies, Biology, Agriculture or related field may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
|SALARY:||Pay Range 7 (Starting at $26,931) based on a University of Maryland System Pay Program|
