RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting to the Director of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the business services and activities for the Erickson School. Specific duties include: providing financial, business, academic and administrative support for the department; managing and assisting in planning department budgets; processing payroll; overseeing the use of procurement cards; processing travel and expense reimbursements; managing continuing education revenue and accounts; coordinating budgeting for service agreements and replacement and/or upgrade of office and equipment; supervising student staff; overseeing processing of faculty appointments and other positions within the department, promotion and contract reviews; managing inventory control; and performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and six years progressively responsible experience in a combination of budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and personnel work, one year of which involved full supervisory responsibility. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organizational, computer, problem-solving, and time management skills. A proven ability to work independently and with diverse populations is preferred. PeopleSoft HR and Finance experience is strongly preferred. Note: Position will require a background check.
SALARY:Pay Range 11 (starting at $34,238) based on a University of Maryland System Pay Program
