|RESPONSIBILITIES:||The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Faculty Senate 75 percent time and the UMBC Gates Implementation Grant 25 percent. Responsibilities include: preparing for, staffing of, and generating minutes from the Faculty Senate meetings; responding to inquiries and requests for information; staffing Faculty Senate Committees; organizing and maintaining Faculty Senate records; overseeing website; providing basic administrative support for the Gates Implementation Grant; and performing other duties as assigned. Position reports to the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs. |
|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:||Requires a High School Diploma/GED and three years full time experience providing administrative/secretarial support. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and a proficiency in MS Word and Excel required. Knowledge of Blackboard is preferred.
Note: Position may require a typing test, skills exercise and a background check.
|SALARY:||Pay Range 9 (starting at $30,305) based on a University System of Maryland Pay Program
