RESPONSIBILITIES:The incumbent will coordinate and manage construction and renovation projects. Duties include: acting as a liaison between internal clients and external contractors from point of project conception through completion; organizing and controlling project materials, schedules, and costs; providing expertise in a professional field such as architecture, electrical or mechanical engineering, or construction management; coordinating design concepts with design professionals; prioritizing ongoing and new projects, as well as conducting research and gathering information; and performing other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelorís Degree in Architecture, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management and at least five years of experience in construction, design, and/or a technical specialization with responsibilities indicated. Experience designing or managing projects in occupied higher education setting preferred. Must have well developed analytical and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills required. Must have demonstrated ability to manage design and construction projects; consultation and change management skills; and computer skills in relevant design and office applications. A valid Driverís License is required. Registered Architect or Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
SALARY:Salary commensurate with education and experience
