|RESPONSIBILITIES:||Reporting to the Choice Jobs Assistant Director, the incumbent will actively supports the mission of The Choice Program and specifically meets the employment needs of youth and families in the Choice program. Specific duties include: primary responsibility for the operation of the Choice Program’s youth on-the-job training programs at the Flying Fruit Fantasy (FFF) Stand at Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor; directly supervising the Choice Jobs Fellows and the youth employed at the Flying Fruit Fantasy Stand; managing the FFF Stands during the baseball season; providing individual and group vocational services; coordinating and delivering employment skills training services for youth; coordinating employment resources for youth; providing direct employability skills training to youth; and performing other duties as assigned.
Note: This is a full-time, grant-funded position wherein employment is contingent upon renewal of the grant.
|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:||Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience working with youth. Six months vocational experience preferred.
Note: Due to the nature of the workflow and program needs, the Choice Jobs Service Coordinator maintains a flexible schedule that goes beyond a 40-hour workweek.
|SALARY:||Starting salary is $34,191annually. Full University benefits included.|
