RESPONSIBILITIES:Under general supervision, the incumbent performs plumbing work at the journey level. Duties include installing, repairing and maintaining water, gas, sewer, storm and drain systems, and related equipment and pipelines. In addition, the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma/GED and four years progressively responsible experience in the plumbing trade. Licensure in the State of Maryland as a Journeyman Plumber required. A valid Non-commercial Class C or equivalent driverís license is required. Valid certification for Backflow Device Testing and Repair preferred.
SALARY:Pay Range 12 (starting at $38,997) based on a University of Maryland System Pay Program
