RESPONSIBILITIES:The Assistant Dean of Financial Management will assist the Dean of the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS) in all aspects of the financial management of the college and the CNMS Shared Services Center. This position will: support the CNMS mission by directing the financial activities of CNMS and its Shared Service Center (SSC); ensure compliance with all institutional and/or external policies or regulations; oversee the CNMS/departmental annual budget process; assist with financial goal setting; supervise the review and reconciliation of CNMS expenditures and revenues; oversee all research and grant financial administration in the College; provide advice and counsel on business, fiscal, human resource, and administrative matters; establish SSC priorities & oversee workflow; supervise all SSC staff; coordinate all audits; provide excellent customer service; and perform other duties as assigned.   
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a Masterís degree in business or a business-related discipline and 10 years of managerial experience in a complex operating environment with a background in enterprise-wide systems. Must have extensive customer service experience in a team-oriented environment of continuous improvement. CPA certification desired. Higher education or nonprofit management experience preferred as well as experience with PeopleSoft financial management systems that include HRMS, procurement, G/L, and grants accounting. Note: Position will require a background check.
SALARY:Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
