RESPONSIBILITIES:The incumbent will serve as an admissions assistant for graduate school admissions. Responsibilities include: preparing admission communications to applicants via letters and emails; reviewing requests for in-state residency for tuition purposes and making determinations of residency based on a proscribed set of rules; and performing other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or GED and two and a half years of experience in date entry/control activities. Knowledge of PeopleSoft (Student Administration) software is preferred, as well as knowledge of scanning software, ImageNow. Preference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate computer proficiency, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the above mentioned software systems. Strong verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of audiences are required.
SALARY:Pay Range 7 (starting at $28,447) based on a University System of Maryland Pay Program.
