RESPONSIBILITIES:The incumbent will provide routine sales assistance to customers at the Campus Card Center, a retail postal/shipping/support area located in the University Center Building. Sales include stamps, metered postage, FedEx shipping and the material associated with the packaging and preparation of items. Support services include copying, scanning, faxing, use of Cash to Card machines and web deposits to Campus Card. Duties shall include restocking of supplies, maintenance of counter and display areas, basic materials inventory, and daily closeout and reconciliation of sales. Position will work approximately 16 hours per week, Mondays & Wednesdays 8:00 4:30
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience: Requires a High School Diploma or GED. One year of related experience preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills. Basic knowledge of operating a point of sales terminal in a cashless operation and knowledge in USPS domestic and international mailing is desirable but not required. Training will be provided.
SALARY:Salary is $11.27 per hour. This is a temporary, Contingent I position and does not include benefits. Initial contract is for the 2014-2015 academic year with the possibility of renewal.
