Service Awards Ceremony


The Service Award Ceremony is held annually to honor employees for their hard work and dedication to the University. Awards are given to employees who have completed 5,10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service with UMBC and the State of Maryland.

The campus community is invited to the award ceremony to show support by witnessing colleagues receiving their awards for their contribution and service to UMBC. Highlights of the event include: viewing of digital stories; a drawing of fabulous prizes for award recipients; a chance for guests to win door prizes; refreshments; and the opportunity to socialize with your colleagues.

The Service Award Ceremony is sponsored by the Department of Human Resources.
