Notes: All coursework is in English. SIT's two Vietnam programs offer experiential learning options in Culture and Development and Ecology and Sustainability in the Mekong Delta. No previous knowledge of Vietnamese is required.  Instruction consists of language study, classroom work, experiential learning and an independent research project.  Special scholarships are available to UMBC participants through the Freeman Asia program.
