Application Deadlines and Application Fee

All UMBC students are required to submit your application through the UMBC Study Abroad Office. Students who do not follow this rule endanger their ability to transfer credits from their study abroad program to UMBC, and may not be able to transfer financial aid or scholarships to their study abroad program.

Make certain you read your study abroad application and submit the required supplementary materials to the Study Abroad Office.  Your study abroad advisors carefully review your application to make certain that it is complete and accurate.  Once your application is complete, we will submit it on your behalf to the program sponsor.

All applications must also include an application fee of $50, payable in cash or by check payable to UMBC.  Late applications will incur a late application fee of an additional $50 for up to four weeks after the applications below.  Beyond that date, late applications may not be accepted and, if they are, will incur an additional late fee of $100.
