Many of you will want to return to the UMBC halls of residence in the semester after you return from your study abroad experience.
You should have already contacted the Office of Residence Life prior to your study abroad departure, letting them know your intention to live on-campus upon your return. You also needed to provide them a copy of your power of attorney agreement, showing that your parents have the right to sign your housing contract on your behalf while you are overseas.
You will need to contact Wendy Crowe, in the Office of Residence Life several months prior to your return to UMBC in order to start the paperwork that will need to be submitted.
As international mail service may be slow to your host country, you should designate that the contract be sent to the person who has power of attorney over your affairs while you are out of the country.
