Winter Term Programs

UMBC's Study Abroad Office works variety of winter term programs for students who may not have time to spend a full semester overseas.  Most winter programs last three weeks and offer many of the benefits of study abroad.

Please remember that all students are required to submit their study abroad application to the UMBC Study Abroad Office, no matter which university administers the program.

Challenge New Zealand: Leadership Development

Applications must be received at least two working days prior to the program's application deadline.  These deadlines are usually October 15 for winter programs. The deadline for University of Maryland, College Park winter programs is October 1.  Please plan accordingly.
