The goal of Summer Marine Science Education Program will be to provide high school students with opportunities to understand how the constant perturbation of estuary, brackish salt water environment affects the growth of living organisms (Chesapeake Bay) using the blue crab as an model organism and how these animals change the color of their carapace to blend in their environments, particularly the surface of a substrate.
